Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Commercial to lead the delivery of business change projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring on time, within budget and to agreed scope and quality.

This role is offered on a remote basis with regular travel across GB for project needs. You’ll develop plans, manage scope, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies, while maintaining essential PMO documentation and reporting.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager - Commercial to lead the delivery of strategically important business change projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed scope and quality.

ThisroleisbeingofferedonaremotebasiswithregulartravelacrossGBforprojectneeds.

You’ll bring structure and direction to projects, developing plans, managing scope, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies, and ensuring effective governance throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll maintain key project documentation, including RAID and action logs, status reports and steering updates, in line with our PMO framework.

Working across multiple business functions, you’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, communicate progress clearly and proactively manage risks, issues and decisions. You’ll also support change and communication activities to help ensure successful adoption and sustainable business outcomes.

Where projects include technical workstreams, you’ll work closely with a Technical Project Manager to align business and technical activities, responsibilities and go-live plans.

You’ll have proven experience delivering business change projects using waterfall methodologies, with the ability to bring structure to complex initiatives and turn ideas into clear, achievable plans. You’ll be highly organised, detail-oriented and confident communicating and influencing across different levels of an organisation. Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
