About the Team

The Project Management Function manages client relationships and daily activities to ensure Medidata delivers quality projects on time and within budget through effective resource management.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve project objectives.
2. Lead complex projects and programs with clients.
3. Ensure project deliverables are tracked and documentation is up-to-date.
4. Manage client expectations, communications, and satisfaction.
5. Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
6. Manage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and invoicing accuracy.
7. Maintain accurate project documentation.
8. Coordinate work requests across departments.
9. Document meeting minutes and follow-up on action items.
10. Manage issues and risks with appropriate resolutions.
11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
12. Ensure compliance with Medidata’s project management standards and quality systems.
13. Support sales and change order development.
14. Lead workshops and client meetings.

Qualifications

1. Experience in clinical research (pharma, device, biotech) and SaaS technology.
2. Ability to work independently on routine and complex assignments.
3. Skilled in stakeholder communication and engagement.
4. Proactive in issue and risk mitigation.
5. Ability to suggest improvements to enhance value.
6. Experience mentoring team members.
7. Proficient in creating and delivering presentations.
