Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Senior Project Manager to deliver complex civil engineering and construction programmes within a highly regulated environment. The role is based on-site in Essex with responsibilities across a multi-billion programme, coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders to meet critical milestones.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmes.
• Experience of working through the construction stages of major infrastructure projects.
• Background in a highly regulated industry, such as airports, rail, nuclear or water.
• Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, programme management and governance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Leading the delivery of complex civil engineering construction projects through the construction phase.
• Managing project scope, programme, resources, risks and quality requirements.
• Co-ordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring delivery against agreed milestones.
• Managing commercial, technical and construction-related risks.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Preparing project reports and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders.
• Supporting effective communication and collaboration across the wider transformation programme.

Senior Project Manager with experience of delivering complex civil engineering/construction projects within a highly regulated environment (rail, airport, highways utilities etc) required for a permanent position. This is a position will see you play a key role in the delivery of a £mulit-billion construction programme in Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the delivery of complex civil engineering construction projects through the construction phase


• Managing project scope, programme, resources, risks and quality requirements


• Co-ordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders


• Monitoring project progress and ensuring delivery against agreed milestones


• Managing commercial, technical and construction-related risks


• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety, quality and regulatory standards


• Preparing project reports and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders


• Supporting effective communication and collaboration across the wider transformation programme
