Job summary

Apple Technical Recruitment (UK) Limited is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a permanent role in Cambridge. You will oversee major projects with budgets over £10m, coordinating with clients, design teams and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and high quality standards on site.

You will manage programmes, permits, and procurement while mentoring the site team and maintaining rigorous health and safety practices.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
CSCS Card, SMSTS.
ASTA PowerProject and Procore experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Oversee the project as Senior Project Manager.
Develop and manage detailed project programmes, timelines, and site setup plans.
Obtain planning permissions, statutory permits, and building regulation approvals.
Oversee project budget with the Quantity Surveyor and maintain financial control.
Utilise Procore and ASTA PowerProject to streamline delivery and reporting.
Manage procurement of materials and plant and subcontractors for best value.
Lead, mentor and develop the site team and monitor performance.
Coordinate with clients, design teams and stakeholders with clear reporting.
