Job summary

Sanctuary is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver technology projects across the organisation, reporting to the Senior Programme Manager and supporting up to 5 direct reports.

You will oversee budgets, develop and manage plans, liaise with stakeholders and suppliers, and drive cost-efficient delivery in line with the Technology strategy. Strong English communication is essential to success, with the role based in Worcester.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing medium to large-scale technology projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Experience with project planning tools and governance.
• Ability to lead teams including indirect reports and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage high profile and business critical projects throughout the project lifecycle, including budgets and resources.
• Develop, manage and implement project plans to deliver technology improvements and business solutions.
• Support delivery of solutions meeting customer needs, liaising with stakeholders and suppliers to implement service and product improvements.
• Lead the integration of new and existing technology systems/applications and assess new technologies for future needs.

Role Intro:

We are searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager, Managing, monitoring and ensuring delivery of agreed projects to improve Technology services as part of the overall Technology Strategy and operational delivery.

Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, with up to 5 direct reports - You will ensure cost effective and efficient delivery of projects across the Group to support Technology improvements, and efficiencies for the benefit of all customers.

• Responsibilities listed: Oversee and manage high profile and business critical projects throughout the project lifecycle through the effective control and utilisation of resources (including budgets), to ensure the achievement of the objectives in line with the Technology strategy and business plan.
• Develop, manage and implement project plans to effectively manage and deliver Technology improvement projects that resolve identified business issues or provides new business solutions to support Technology users.
• Support the delivery of solutions that meet customer needs, working with internal and external stakeholders to project manage the implementation of service and product improvements that meet the current and future needs of Technology customers and liaising effectively with suppliers as necessary.
• Support the delivery of new, and integration of existing Technology systems/applications, including effective appraisal of new technologies and their suitability to meet the future needs of the Group.
• Lead the development and control of Technology project management processes to achieve project efficiencies and cost reductions including undertaking comprehensive project reviews to identify improvements.
• Experience listed: Proven experience of using project planning tools to effectively manage projects
• Comprehensive experience of managing medium to large scale Technology projects
• Proven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports and third party suppliers
• Proven experience of producing progress reports and management information, including making recommendations for changes needed to ensure delivery
• Proven experience in developing solutions in line with business strategies whilst meeting business and user needs
• Excellent communication and understanding of written and spoken English
