Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Bristol Office to lead projects across Bristol and the South-West. The role is hybrid: 3 days in the office/site and 2 days at home, with project values from £1m to £50m+.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, advise clients on cost and schedule, and produce detailed monthly reports. You will guide projects through the full lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to a strong, supportive office culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in education or custodial projects is desirable.
• Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in the adoption and management of best practice Project Management techniques.
• Experience of pre and post contract Project Management responsibilities and delivering to clients.
• Aptitude to liaise with clients and stakeholders while managing expectations.
• Ability to manage a project lifecycle from start to finish.
• Professionalism with clear written and verbal communication.
• Degree qualification and commitment to ongoing development.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills in all formats.
• Ability to influence others with sound judgement.

AtkinsRéalis Buildings & Places are currently recruiting for Senior Project Managers for our Bristol Office to service projects in Bristol and the South-West of England. Due to continued success in securing projects throughout Bristol and the surrounding regions, we’re looking for exceptional Senior Project Managers, with a strong focus in the Private & Public Sectors, to join our highly successful team in based in Bristol Office. This role is a hybrid role with an expectation of a minimum 3 days a week working from the Bristol office/Site and 2 days a week working from home. Our projects range in value from £1m to £50m+ and are with a variety of high-profile clients in the education, commercial, infrastructure and public sector giving our Senior Project Managers a diverse and exciting workload. Your role

About you

• Experience in education or custodial projects is desirable but not essential as we have strong pipeline of work in these sectors.
• Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in the adoption and management of best practice Project Management techniques.
• Experience of both pre and post contract Project Management responsibilities and be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.
• The aptitude to liaise with clients and key stakeholders whilst managing expectations.
• The ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycle.
• Hold RICS Chartership or similar Project Management Qualification.
• A courteous manner with a high level of professionalism - the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
• A disciplined thinker and analytical, numerate, problem solver who has the judgement and the capacity to think complex issues through and develop effective solutions in a timely fashion.
• The drive and self-motivation to have achieved a degree qualification and to continuously develop their technical and behavioural skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An ability to influence others by sound judgement and good sense.
