Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple engineering projects from inception to delivery in the UK’s critical infrastructure sectors. Hybrid working (Stone) and full ownership of scope, cost and schedule are on offer, with leadership of multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

You will drive HSE, quality, and NEC contract compliance, build strong client relationships and manage budgets and schedules. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within an engineering environment.
• Experience delivering projects in regulated industries.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk management skills.
• Strong NEC contract experience.
• Experience planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and project budgets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple engineering projects from inception through to delivery.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
• Taking full financial responsibility for project performance.
• Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Managing subcontractors and external partners.

Location - Stone, Staffordshire (Hybrid)

You'll be joining a well-established engineering business working on complex projects across the UK's critical infrastructure sectors. The team delivers upgrades and modifications to control systems within the Energy industry.

What you’ll need

• Proven project management experience within an engineering environment

• Strong NEC contract experience
• Experience planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project
• Ability to manage subcontractors and project budgets
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
