Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead engineering projects from inception to delivery in a hybrid Stone, Staffordshire setting.

You will oversee budgets, schedules and cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and industry standards, while building strong client relationships and guiding project success.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within an engineering environment.
• Experience delivering projects in regulated industries.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk management skills.
• Strong NEC contract experience.
• Experience planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and project budgets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple engineering projects from inception through to delivery.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
• Taking full financial responsibility for project performance.
• Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Managing subcontractors and external partners.
• Overseeing health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Building strong client relationships through regular updates and meetings.

Location - Stone, Staffordshire (Hybrid)

You'll be joining a well-established engineering business working on complex projects across the UK's critical infrastructure sectors. The team delivers upgrades and modifications to control systems within the Energy industry.

What you'll need

• Strong commercial awareness and risk management skills
• Strong NEC contract experience
• Experience planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project
• Ability to manage subcontractors and project budgets
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
