The University of Southampton seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead IT projects enhancing staff and student experiences. Ideal candidates will have extensive project management experience, including business change and technical integration. The University’s IT Service, iSolutions, is looking for experienced and dynamic Senior Project Managers to deliver IT projects that transform how the University uses IT. If you have the right skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
We provide a wide range of IT services to staff and students, supporting a community of over 20,000 students and 5,500 staff. This role will join our IT Portfolio community of Project Managers and Business Analysts, working on projects to improve existing services and enhance the staff and student experience.
Ideal candidates will have significant Project Management experience, including end-to-end delivery of projects involving substantial business change, technical integration, upgrades, or data migration. Experience working with student systems is a plus. The role requires engaging with various stakeholders across the University and collaborating across departments.
Applicants should possess a qualification equivalent to a postgraduate degree and hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar qualification in agile or traditional project management.
