Job summary

QinetiQ in the UK Defence arm (Land & Weapons division) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value, complex projects. You will maintain engagement with customers and partners while meeting baselines for time, cost, quality, cash and sales, and work from Fort Halstead or Shoeburyness.

Key duties include forecasting financial and resource demand, applying governance for foundation sales and delivery, and ensuring SAP data accuracy for opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience leading a business, projects, programmes or P3.
• Degree in a relevant field.

Job description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of one or more high value complex projects within the UK Defence arm of QinetiQ and more specifically the Land & Weapons division. Day-to-day, you'll develop and maintain positive engagement with project customers and partners while delivering against project outputs to agreed baseline targets such as Customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of forecasts both financial and resource demand signal
• Application of governance requirements for foundation sales and delivery work
• Ensuring correct entry of data onto SAP relating to your opportunities to include Order value, order intake scenario, bid due date, closing date, sales stage, margin and revenue profile. Demonstrable capability to International Project Management Level B
• Experience gained between 3-5 years of leading a business, projects, programmes, portfolios or P3 function and delivering against complex projects, APM or Prince2
• Degree in a relevant field
