Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in London is seeking a Senior Client Manager to own strategic customer relationships and drive growth across UK National Security programmes. You will shape future strategy and coordinate across technical, operational and delivery teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

You will influence senior stakeholders, manage a complex portfolio, and work at our London site with travel to customer locations as needed. Eligibility for eDV clearance is required or possible.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within the UK National Security community.
• Strong knowledge of Operational Technology, Cyber, or adjacent digital capability areas.
• Track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic aims.
• Experience leading complex programmes, strategic accounts or major customer portfolios.
• Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business growth.
• Ability to influence senior decision‑makers in complex, ambiguous environments.

• Drive growth and identify, shape and mature high‑value opportunities by aligning customer priorities with QinetiQ’s technical capabilities, ensuring we’re investing in the right areas at the right time
• Lead delivery excellence and maintain oversight of a complex portfolio of programmes, identifying risks early, removing barriers and ensuring customers receive exceptional outcomes throughout the lifecycle
• Connect the business and act as the strategic bridge between customer and QinetiQ, ensuring commercial, technical, operational and delivery teams are aligned behind a single customer strategy

The Role

As a Senior Client Manager, You’ll work at the heart of some of the UK’s most important National Security challenges, helping organisations adopt technologies that improve operational effectiveness and mission success.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, shape major programmes and work alongside experts solving some of the country’s most complex problems.

Essential experience of the Senior Client Manager:

• Significant experience working within the UK National Security community
• Strong knowledge of Operational Technology, Cyber, or adjacent digital capability areas
• A track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic aims
• Experience leading complex programmes, strategic accounts or major customer portfolios
• Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business growth
• The confidence to influence senior decision‑makers both internally and externally in complex, ambiguous environments

Essential qualifications for the Senior Client Manager:

This role is 37 hours per week based at our London site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected

These facilities enable QinetiQ to conduct a wide range of research, testing and development activities that support both military and civilian applications helping to advance technology and support national security.
