Role: Senior Project Manager | Business Transformation & Change

Length: 12 months

We're partnering with a leading international ecommerce marketplace embarking on one of its most significant business and operational transformation programmes.

Operating across multiple international markets, this is a complex, fast-paced, technology-driven business investing heavily in transforming how it operates, how its teams work and how it delivers value to customers.

Role & responsibilities

As part of this ambitious programme, we're looking for an experienced Contract Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering business-wide transformation across technology, operations, processes and people.

You’ll be working at the heart of a major transformation programme, delivering meaningful change across every area of the business, from commercial and customer operations through to finance, technology and core business functions.

The programme is fundamentally reshaping how the organisation operates, combining new systems, redesigned business processes and significant organisational change and upon joining, you'll take ownership of complex, cross-functional projects, bringing structure, pace and accountability to an environment where multiple workstreams, stakeholders and dependencies need to come together.

A key role, at a key time for the business, you will be expected to:

• Lead business transformation: Own and deliver complex projects across a major international business and operational transformation programme.
• Drive systems, process and people change: Coordinate the implementation of new technology, redesigned operating processes and changes to ways of working.
• Work across the entire business: Partner with stakeholders across technology, product, operations, commercial, finance, customer service and other business functions.
• Deliver end-to-end projects: Manage projects from discovery and planning through execution, implementation, business readiness and successful adoption.
• Manage complex dependencies: Coordinate multiple teams, workstreams and third-party partners to ensure joined-up delivery.
• Lead business change: Ensure new processes and systems are embedded successfully, with teams prepared, engaged and equipped to operate differently.
• Engage senior stakeholders: Build strong relationships with business leaders, challenge where necessary and provide clear visibility of progress, risks and decisions.
• Drive delivery and accountability: Own project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues and governance while maintaining momentum in a fast-moving environment.

Person requirements for the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering major business transformation and change programmes within complex organisations.

Can you offer the following?

• Strong experience delivering projects involving a combination of technology, business processes, operating models and people change.
• Experience working across multiple business functions rather than purely within IT.
• A successful track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of business change, operational readiness, stakeholder engagement and adoption.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior leadership teams.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and delivery-focused, with the ability to balance strategic objectives with hands-on execution.
• Experience within ecommerce, marketplaces, retail or other complex international consumer-facing businesses would be highly advantageous.
• Comfortable operating in environments where priorities evolve, ambiguity exists and delivery needs to happen at pace.
