SSEN Transmission has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to lead the delivery of a new 220/132/33kV substation at Finstown in Orkney, as part of our broader initiative to connect Orkney to the UK grid for the first time. You will play a crucial role in project delivery — developing your team, building stakeholder relationships, delivering on schedule, and ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Base Location: Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, or Orkney.
Due to the location and size of the Orkney project, the SPM will be required to be on-site at least every second week for 2-3 days, overseeing construction and safety, health, welfare, and environmental requirements.
Salary: £55,200 - £83,000 + car/car allowance + performance-related bonus + benefits supporting your finances, wellbeing, and family.
