Company & Project:

An award-winning Main Contractor with a busy project pipeline is seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join their regional office. The role involves working on projects across the Healthcare, Science, Education, and Leisure sectors.

Our client is a well-respected employer with a healthy secured order book for 2025/26 onwards, including projects valued at approximately £50m+. You will initially work within pre-construction in the PCSA stage of a 2-stage project, joining before the project starts on site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will manage all project management functions, from early-stage planning, design, and financial management, to practical construction delivery.

Previous experience in managing projects worth £30m+ as the No.1 Project Manager is essential, along with strong knowledge of pre-construction project management, contract management, H&S, and excellent client-facing skills.

Our client seeks a candidate with a stable career history working for Top 50 Main Contractors on projects from concept to completion.

• Held Number 1 Project Manager roles with recognized Top 50 Main Contractors.
• Experienced in delivering construction projects £30m+ in sectors such as Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Science, Leisure, or Mixed-Use.
• Background in Site Management or Engineering, with a valid CSCS Card and ideally NVQ Level 6, BSc, or MCIOB.
• Exceptional client-facing and people management skills, experience leading teams of around 20 staff, with solid technical knowledge of planning, design, commercial, and construction delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Construction Management or a comparable qualification such as NVQ/HNC. MCIOB status would be advantageous.
