• Experience delivering engineering projects end-to-end within a multi-disciplinary setting (process/mechanical/electrical/instrumentation).
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, safety and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with suppliers or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of engineering projects from design through to commissioning.
• Develop P&IDs and equipment specifications with controls/automation teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers across projects.
• Contribute to quotations, technical proposals and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Drive innovation, efficiency improvements and best practices in project delivery.

About the Role

Senex Recruitment is supporting a specialist engineering and technology-focused organisation near Godalming, Surrey seeking a Project Manager to deliver complex engineering projects across global operations. The company will consider applicants at both a Project Manager and Senior or Lead Project Manager level. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on delivering multi-disciplinary projects across process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems, managing the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end delivery of engineering projects including design, procurement, installation and commissioning
• Supporting the development of P&IDs and equipment specification, working closely with controls and automation teams
• Building strong relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers across projects
• Contributing to quotations, technical proposals and vendor coordination
• Ensuring all work complies with ISO standards, health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements
• Supporting innovation, efficiency improvements and best practice across project delivery

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering engineering projects end-to-end
• Strong technical background in process, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation engineering
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Knowledge of engineering standards, safety and compliance
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
• A Prince2 or APM qualification would be an advantage
