Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are looking for experienced Senior Project Managers to lead on a number of strategic change projects working within our Strategic Business Change department. We have the following opportunities available for the right candidate:
1 x Permanent Contract
1 x 12 Moth Fixed Term Contract
1 x 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
All three roles are full time, working 37 hours per week. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £45441 - £48474 (gross) per annum. The role is office based, but there is the availability of some flexible and / or home working, which can be discussed with the successful applicant.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategic Business Change department, as a Senior Project Manager to support the Programme Manager with strategic developments and tactical deployment in relation to projects.
Through the application of project management skills, this position will be responsible for a number of project deliverables and their associated compliance to time, quality and cost, maintaining a good overview of each project activity, identifying, raising, and resolving issues encountered to ensure the effective delivery of the programme.
The post holder will be personally responsible for establishing an appropriate project team and to ensure that the skills available are continuously monitored to meet the planned stages of the project and/or supplemented by additional resources.
In liaison with Corporate Communications, the post holder will be responsible for for producing and the delivery of the communication to stakeholders, ensuring that Devon and Somerset employees and stakeholders at all levels are informed about the scope, impact and progress of the projects.
We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive individuals, with excellent organisational and project management skills with a proven ability to prioritise, plan and delegate resources to best achieve team's objectives.
