As demand for our platform and services accelerates, we are expanding our delivery team with a Senior Project Manager who can lead complex engagements, elevate our client relationships, and deliver outstanding execution.

As a Senior Project Manager at Lumilinks, you will own the delivery of multi-disciplinary data programmes - from initial discovery through to deployment and ongoing optimisation. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, product teams, and client stakeholders to ensure we deliver high‑quality solutions that meet commercial, technical, and strategic objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who combines technical fluency with strong delivery discipline and the ability to build trusted, long‑term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Excellence

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data warehousing, data platform, and data product projects.
• Build detailed delivery plans, manage scope, track progress, and maintain transparent reporting.
• Drive structured, repeatable delivery processes across agile and iterative workstreams.
• Identify risks, manage dependencies, and proactively remove blockers.
• Set standards across the project management team and lead by example.

Technical Leadership

• An understanding of modern data architectures and the technologies we use (cloud data warehouses, ELT pipelines, data modelling, governance frameworks).
• Translate client requirements into clear technical workstreams and engineering tasks.
• Interrogate proposed solutions and support the design of scalable, high‑quality data products.
• Facilitate alignment between engineering, product, and client stakeholders.

Client & Account Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for client delivery, ensuring clarity, trust, and proactive communication.
• Lead client ceremonies, updates, and steering sessions.
• Understand client context and objectives; shape how Lumilinks delivers ongoing value.
• Support account growth by identifying new opportunities and future phases of work.

Commercial Stewardship

• Manage project budgets, resourcing, and commercial commitments.
• Maintain rigorous change control and protect both client value and Lumilinks’ margins.
• Ensure all delivery outputs align with contracted scope and commercial expectations.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

• Work closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to align on priorities and sequencing.
• Mentor other delivery team members and contribute to improving Lumilinks’ delivery frameworks.
• Help mature internal processes, templates, and tooling as Lumilinks scales.

Skills & Experience

Required

• 5+ years leading technical delivery – ideally within data platforms, analytics, or cloud engineering environments.
• An understanding of cloud data ecosystems (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
• Proven experience delivering complex data warehouse or data product projects.
• Exceptional client‑facing and reporting skills, and experience managing multi‑stakeholder accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and responsibility for budgets, scope, and forecasting.
• Proficiency with agile tools and methodologies (Jira).

Nice to Have

• Experience in consultancy, scale‑up, or fast‑paced service environment.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Relevant certifications (Agile, Scrum Master, PRINCE2).
