Job summary

Avove is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead non-infrastructure water projects within the Severn Trent Water Framework. The role is hybrid, based in Derby with office, site attendance, and home working.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, control costs, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across a regional portfolio, coordinating NEC contracts and reporting to the account P&L. A strong water sector background is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven Senior/Principal Project Management experience within non-infrastructure water projects.
• Working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, including developing Clause 31 programmes and Clause 32 revisions.
• Ability to accurately forecast costs across a portfolio and assess project risk.
• Good hydraulic understanding of water distribution, boosted systems and pumped dosing systems.
• Experience across both clean water and wastewater treatment would be advantageous.

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Severn Trent Water Framework

Location: Derby This role offers hybrid working, combining office and site attendance with home-based working.

Avove is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with water sector experience to join our Severn Trent Water Framework.

You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams delivering non-infrastructure water treatment projects through design, build and commissioning, incorporating Civils and MEICA works. You’ll be responsible for safe, successful delivery, ensuring projects remain on programme and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships and a portfolio of projects delivered on a regional basis.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project delivery team across a portfolio of projects.
• Take responsibility for project cost management and overall programme delivery.
• Manage regional cost forecasting and revenue contributions to the overall account P&L.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and support the establishment of overarching framework agreements to deliver works across the region.
