To lead, direct, coordinate, and implement key projects with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring delivery aligns with customer requirements and meets Nuvia’s performance and profit margins. The role involves managing time, quality, and cost to deliver projects safely, complying with highly regulated sector standards.

Project Sponsor and/or Business Area Director
Key Accountabilities
- Take over delivery of existing projects mid-cycle to ensure successful completion
- Launch new projects, establishing effective communication routes
- Prepare and approve proposals and specifications under the guidance of a Project Sponsor
- Plan, monitor, and control project costs, resources, and schedules with multidisciplinary teams
- Support technical leads to ensure relevant solutions are applied
- Supervise project teams to maintain quality and safety standards
- Assess and mitigate project risks
- Deliver projects according to the Project Management Plan (PMP)
- Arrange and hold review meetings with stakeholders to establish project status
- Understand project requirements, stakeholders, complexities, risks, and mitigation strategies for smooth transitions
- Establish communication routes and stakeholder engagement strategies
- Support project start-up activities, resource mobilization, and stakeholder communication
- Prepare proposals, specifications, strategy documents, and project management plans
- Set up project budgets, WBS, and accounting structures
- Manage subcontracting processes, tenders, and contracts
- Monitor project costs, resources, and schedule deviations, implementing corrective actions
- Produce progress reports and manage contract deviations
- Supervise project teams to achieve safety and quality standards
- Coordinate construction phase activities and safety planning
- Qualifications: Engineering or related field, project management qualification
- Experience: Successful delivery of engineering projects, senior project management competence
- Skills: Leadership, stakeholder management, communication, client focus, adaptability, continuous improvement
- Must hold a full UK driver’s license.
