Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Day Rate: £690 per day Umbrella

Duration: 9 months initially

Location: London (Hybrid, onsite 2x per week)

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in the London Market and a passion for innovation?

Join our Insurance client within their dynamic Change Team as they deliver a multi-year business and technology transformation programme within our wholesale broking function.

This role is a pivotal part of the transformation strategy, offering you the opportunity to shape the future of the London Market.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Drive strategic business outcomes by collaborating with senior leaders, Portfolio, and Programme Managers.
• Lead project teams and workstreams from initiation to successful delivery, ensuring governance and best practices.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure delivery of key outcomes across business and technology functions.
• Lead workshops, manage third-party relationships, track milestones, and mitigate risks via RAID management.
• Align programme delivery with broader transformation timelines and business objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive knowledge of the London Market – especially broker and carrier placement journeys.
• Proven track record managing complex transformation projects in wholesale broking or insurance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
• Advanced knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, PMP etc.) with a pragmatic delivery approach.
• Strong commercial acumen – budgeting, vendor management, contract interpretation.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
