Cipher Search in the West Midlands is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a major UK infrastructure package. You will own scope, programme, cost and quality, and act as senior site representative in a tier-one delivery environment.

The role covers civils, structures and buildings with MEP and HV interfaces. You will build and guide delivery teams, drive procurement, oversee health and safety, and ensure handover on time, on budget and to standard. Chartered status is advantageous.

Cipher Search is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant package of works on a major UK infrastructure programme in the West Midlands. This is a senior leadership role in a tier one delivery environment, with full accountability for scope, programme, cost and quality.

The package spans civils, structures and buildings, with MEP and HV interfaces integrated into the wider scope. You will resource, build and lead the delivery team, set clear objectives and constraints, and take the works through to handover on time, on budget and to the agreed standard. As a senior site representative you will own commercial performance, protect margin and manage client expectations. The remit includes directing the design function, driving procurement of materials, plant and subcontractors to programme, and leading health, safety and environmental compliance across the works.

We are looking for a construction professional with a strong record of delivering major infrastructure or large-scale building projects at senior management level. Experience across civils and construction is the foundation, and an understanding of building services and HV is an advantage. Experience in rail, particularly depots or accommodation buildings, is highly desirable. A formal civil engineering or construction qualification is expected, and chartered status is advantageous but not essential.
