Job summary

Journey is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex construction, fit-out, or installation projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Based in Birmingham, the role requires strong knowledge of site management, procurement, and budget control, with travel as needed. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects to final handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex construction, fit-out, or installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and project delivery.
• Excellent contractor, supplier, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel and be site-based as required.

Responsibilities

Required Experience & Skills

Desirable

• Experience working on hospitality, leisure, commercial, retail, or high‑end fit‑out projects
• Relevant project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)

Contract Type: Full‑time FTC contract

Location: Birmingham

Ideal start date: 15 August 2026 (flexibility available for the right candidate)

Salary Pay Range: £55,000–£60,000 GBP
