Job summary

QinetiQ Group plc in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high value and complex projects within the IDT and Defence business. You will manage multi-stakeholder engagements, deliver outcomes on time and within budget, and contribute to growth across domestic and international opportunities.

You will work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite on average) at Boscombe Down or Bristol facilities, leading teams and ensuring safe, secure delivery while upholding QinetiQ values.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years' experience building teams and delivering projects.
• Experience delivering projects to up to 3 different customers.
• Demonstrate stakeholder management and engagement.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability.
• Hold a recognised PM qualification (APM PPQ or Prince2).

Responsibilities

• Delivery of high value (£5m per annum) or complex projects.
• Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.
• Operating in a Safe & Secure manner.
• Embedding a culture in line with QinetiQ values.
• Delivery of project outputs to agreed baseline (time, cost, quality, cash, customer satisfaction).
• Defining and agreeing an appropriate budget, delivering the project within this budget and reporting progress against the cost plan.
