Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a Senior Project Officer (Skills Bootcamps) to join the Employment and Skills Development Service. You will help manage commissioning, delivery and monitoring across Greater Lincolnshire to meet funding and performance targets.

You will line-manage a small project team, lead contract management with training providers, oversee budgets and ensure robust audit and compliance arrangements.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 qualification (or equivalent)
• Level 3 Adult Teaching qualification (CTLLS or equivalent)
• Experience of curriculum management and delivery
• Experience of managing projects and delivering against targets
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience translating strategy into practical action
• The ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of contract management and commissioning processes

Responsibilities

• Line-manage a small project team.
• Lead contract and performance management activities with commissioned training providers.
• Have sight of programme budgets and ensure robust audit and compliance arrangements are in place.
• Develop strong relationships with employers, providers and strategic partners.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovation to meet learner and employer needs.
• Prepare reports, briefings and funding applications to support service growth and development.
• Deputise for the Employment and Skills Delivery Manager at local, regional and national meetings where required.
