Job summary

Network Rail Swindon Western House is seeking a senior professional to support Buildings and Civils maintenance portfolios across the region, delivering planned and emergency works. You will contribute to safe, economical solutions and ensure projects comply with standards while working across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Buildings and Civils engineering.
• Degree level qualification in Buildings and Civils.
• Chartered membership with a relevant institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement NR systems and procedures for cost-effective, high-quality design and construction activities.
• Monitor competence of Project Engineers and provide guidance.
• Apply engineering controls to ensure standards compliance on projects.
• Perform risk assessments and environmental management per policy.
• Advise on construction activities, testing, and site supervision.
• Ensure CDM compliance and monitor safety and quality systems.
