Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting Project Engineers for a major expansion at a food manufacturing centre in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. These are long-term contracts with some hybrid working possible during early phases and on-site work during installation.

The role covers design through commissioning, including on-site supervision, safety compliance, and delivery to time and budget. Strong English skills and hygienic design knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on, on-site field engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer on similar-scale projects.
• Proven experience auditing designs from third-party firms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, layout and engineering management for process facilities.
• Manage on-site installation, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Plan, track and control project scope, budget and schedule; mitigate risks.
