Job Opportunity: Senior Project Engineer - Electrical or Mechanical
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum + package
A leading Tier 1 contractor for South West Water is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their delivery team. Whether you're from an electrical or mechanical background, if you have experience delivering engineering projects and are ready for the next step in your career, this could be the role for you.
What you'll be doing:
·Managing the full project lifecycle - from design to commissioning
·Coordinating with internal teams and supply chain partners
·Overseeing construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
·Identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency
·Supporting commercial teams with cost plans and progress tracking
·Championing health & safety and compliance across all stages of the project
What you'll need:
·Background in electrical or mechanical engineering
·Project management experience in construction or utilities
·Familiarity with NEC3 contracts and CDM regulations
·Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
·Experience in the water sector (non-infrastructure)
·Experience using Primavera P6 or similar tools
·Chartered status or working towards it
