Job summary

CIH International Housing Group in Glasgow seeks a Project Director to lead a major project portfolio from pre-design to delivery on schemes £20M+ in value. You will drive health and safety leadership, manage pre-construction activities, and oversee specialist subcontractors while delivering on time and within budget.

You will work with the regional senior team to define strategy, review contracts, and prepare local business plans.

Qualifications

• Must have health and safety leadership experience across large projects.
• Proven ability to lead pre-construction activities with clear scope reviews and installation methods.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities with commercial mitigation.
• Lead the delivery team and manage specialist sub-contractors to achieve milestones.
• Provide clear leadership, direction and feedback to maximise team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on project delivery from pre-design through to delivery for projects £20M+.
• Deliver business strategy and participate in company initiatives and communications.
• Conduct contract reviews and produce concise management information for stakeholders.
• Prepare and update local business plans and management accounts with the commercial director.
• Maintain direction and leadership to deliver on time, within budget, while building strong client relationships.
