Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Project Director for Enabling Works and Utilities in the UK. This role leads a multi‑department team to plan, design, construct, and commission infrastructure and utility works for the new park and destinations.

The position requires oversight of budget, schedule, procurement, and stakeholder engagement, with a hands‑on management style and strong communication skills. Travel across the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Management or related field.
• Extensive experience in construction project management and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Experience with scheduling, estimating, bidding processes and negotiation.
• Knowledge of enabling infrastructure, mass grading, water management and utilities.
• Experience with UK utility statutory undertakers and reading design/construction drawings.
• Strong communications skills and hands-on field management approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-department project teams to establish scope, schedule and budgets.
• Manage enabling infrastructure and non-park developments aligned to Universal schedules.
• Ensure project procedures are followed for documentation, RFIs and submittals.
• Maintain project budget and schedule to approved targets.
• Provide leadership and develop direct reports within UDX.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors and contractors across the UK and occasionally internationally.
