Job summary

Hunter Dunning in London is seeking a senior interior designer to lead design delivery for complex hospitality projects from concept through completion. You will work across high-end F&B, spa and large-scale hotel developments, coordinating design teams and clients to ensure exceptional outcomes.

The role requires at least eight years in hospitality design and project management, with strong technical, presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • At least eight years of hospitality experience.
  • Strong interior architecture and design knowledge.
  • Excellent colour, material and composition skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong technical, presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SketchUp required; BIM tools advantageous.
  • Experience with Revit, Enscape, 3D Studio Max and Rhino is advantageous.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure with construction knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design delivery across all project phases.
  • Develop project vision with senior design leadership.
  • Coordinate clients, consultants, operators and contractors.
  • Oversee drawings, specifications, schedules and presentations.
  • Delegate work and mentor project team members.
  • Provide design/technical direction; monitor resources, budgets and schedules.

Job description

A senior interior design role supporting complex hospitality projects from concept through completion in London. Working across high-end F&B, spa and large-scale hotel developments, you will lead design delivery, coordinate project teams and provide creative and technical direction. This position suits a designer with at least eight years of relevant hospitality design and project management experience, confident managing client communication, documentation, consultants and contractors. The contract is expected to start in October 2026.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead design delivery across all project phases
  • Develop project vision with senior design leadership
  • Coordinate clients, consultants, operators and contractors
  • Oversee drawings, specifications, schedules and presentations
  • Delegate work and mentor project team members
  • You will provide design and technical direction while coordinating closely with FF&E teams. Responsibilities also include monitoring resources, fees, programmes, budgets and potential schedule changes.
Skills & Experience Required
  • At least eight years of relevant hospitality experience
  • Strong interior architecture and design knowledge
  • Excellent colour, material and composition skills
  • Advanced AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite capability
  • Strong technical, presentation and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of SketchUp is required. Revit, Enscape, 3D Studio Max and Rhino experience is advantageous, alongside strong construction knowledge and the ability to deliver effectively under pressure.
Salary & Benefits
  • £55,000 - £60,000 salary
  • Approximately 1 year fixed-term contract
  • Start date October 2026
  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Hybrid working after probation, project dependent
