Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering or related technical field.
• Significant experience in senior engineering, systems engineering or technical authority roles.
• Ability to translate customer/business needs into clear technical direction and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Design Authority for assigned products or development projects, owning the technical direction and integrity of the solution.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams across systems, software, electronics, RF, mechanical, test and verification.
• Translate customer, market and regulatory needs into deliverable engineering solutions and architectures.
• Make evidence-based technical decisions with documented rationale, risks and trade-offs.
• Ensure designs meet functional, non-functional, compliance, quality and manufacturability requirements.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical capability development within the business.
