Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support staff teams to drive engagement, motivation, and service excellence.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local agencies, education and training providers, employers, and health professionals to maximize opportunities for young people.
  • Ensure individualized support plans and risk assessments are developed and delivered effectively.
  • Oversee rent arrears processes, ensuring compliance with policy and financial procedures.
  • Act as the Safeguarding Champion, overseeing complex cases and embedding best practice.
  • Encourage a culture of positive engagement in education, training, employment, or community activities.
  • Support customer voice and co-production across the service.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant environment, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to deliver integrated support packages.
  • Ensure services are consistently Ofsted-ready and aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours advice and support when needed.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience working in supported living or a similar setting, with a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of support planning, safeguarding, and risk assessment.
  • A solid understanding of the supported housing sector, including regulatory and funding frameworks.
  • Effective leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A values-driven and inclusive approach, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
  • IT proficiency and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
