Senior Project Controls Manager:

Based in Midlands, you will add value to project teams on high-profile infrastructure schemes for our clients.

Your Purpose:

• Supervise and manage a Project Controls team, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and fostering an empowering environment.
• Develop and monitor the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
• Agree on progress measurement methodology with contractors and ensure timely submission of project actuals.
• Use performance measurement techniques like earned value management to predict project performance.
• Compile and interpret performance data to support decision-making.
• Maintain and improve planning, risk, cost control, and change management policies and procedures.
• Lead change control processes and facilitate change forums.
• Provide technical advice to project leaders to resolve delays and issues.
• Share lessons learned and best practices within the community.

What you bring:

• Proven leadership and results delivery in large-scale projects.
• Stakeholder management skills with clients and senior leaders.
• Excellent communication skills for presentations and meetings.
• Experience in project controls within complex infrastructure projects across sectors like transport, energy, defence, or water.
• Professional project management or controls certification preferred.
• Proficiency in EVM and project controls under NEC Contracts.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Quantitative Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis.
• Resilience in high-pressure environments.
