SP Energy Networks invites applications for a Projects Control Lead to join the Core Portfolio in Scotland. The role covers planning, scheduling, cost control and change management across a regional portfolio with potential site travel. You’ll embed standards, run KPI reporting and support governance with senior stakeholders.

Based in Cambuslang or Edinburgh Park, the position offers a competitive salary (up to £65,500) with a 15% bonus and private healthcare. Closing date 15 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects with UK exposure.
• Degree in Engineering/Construction/Project Management or equivalent.
• Evidence of advanced planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to lead collaborative teams and manage senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Embed project controls standards, processes and SOPs across a regional portfolio.
• Monitor, analyse and report KPIs across project delivery teams.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, risks and reporting for all projects in region.
• Support the PMO with governance, risk and change management activities.
• Adopt digital tools (Power BI, P6, CEMAR) for reporting and insights.
• Engage stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
