Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Principal Project Controller to join the Project Controls team. You will drive schedule quality, apply risk analysis, and support bid and execution phases within an IPT framework.

You will manage partner schedules, identify dependencies and mitigate risks, while coaching team members and ensuring EV metrics align with project objectives. The role requires strong collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Extensive planning and project controls experience across project lifecycles.
• Experience with schedule risk analysis and earned value metrics.
• Experience leading or coaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and integrity of Project Controls on projects and programmes.
• Drive schedule quality and apply schedule risk analysis across the lifecycle.
• Provide controls support for bid phase activities and transition to execution.
• Manage subcontractor schedules and identify dependencies and risks.
• Conduct what-if analyses to drive decision making and mitigation actions.
• Monitor EV metrics and governance to meet project objectives.
• Coach and train other members of the Project Controls function.
• Contribute to IPT/project reviews with Project Controls inputs.
