Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer-Planner to lead scheduling on major nuclear projects in a London-based, hybrid role (2–3 days onsite). You will build and maintain schedules, work with project managers and delivery teams to spot issues early, plan recovery, and keep management informed.

Ideal candidates have professional Project Controls experience across the full project lifecycle, strong Primavera P6 proficiency, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Professional Project Controls experience spanning planning and scheduling across the full project lifecycle.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera (P6) and other planning/resourcing software.
• Ability to coordinate with other teams and bring multidisciplinary knowledge.
• Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• Membership of a body such as APM or PMI.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project schedules aligned to project requirements, developed with the project manager and team.
• Reduce uncertainty, clarify objectives, and improve efficiency.
• Help project managers schedule work and coordinate assignments.
• Evaluate schedule progress and performance, and identify developing problem areas.
• Support timely and effective change management.
• Help produce status reports that keep management informed.
• Analyse alternative courses of action or recovery for slipped schedules.

You will build and maintain the schedules that keep complex programmes on track, working closely with project managers and delivery teams to spot emerging issues early, plan recovery, and keep management informed.
