Job summary

BAE Systems in Portsmouth Naval Base is seeking a Senior Project Controller to support major programmes. You will develop plans, maintain baselines, and report progress, ensuring cost, schedule and milestone delivery.

You will analyse performance metrics, identify trends, present findings with recommended actions to senior leaders, and assist the Project Manager with cost, schedule and quality through accurate data and risk management.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Project Control policies, processes, procedures and systems.
• Working knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, Predict.
• Experience with Intermediate Risk and Opportunity Management.
• Experience with data analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience/knowledge in Baseline Control, Cost Estimating/Engineering, Resource Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Analysis or Financial Management within project environments is advantageous.
• Holding a Project Management qualification/certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, maintain baselines, and report progress.
• Analyse performance metrics, identify trends; present findings with corrective actions.
• Support Project Manager in managing cost, schedule and quality.
• Assist with monthly EAC and resource profiling.
• Contribute to effective risk and opportunity management for project delivery.
