Job Description:

• Assist and support the Senior/Finance Business Partner with the development and management of the Operating Unit Finance team.
• Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts in accordance with Skanska internal and international accounting policies.
• Manage the Operating Unit’s results against forecasts and provide variance analysis for leadership review.
• Coordinate quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting, and prepare reporting packs for submission to MD and SFBP.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations timely and accurately, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to financial processes and controls, and seek improvements where possible.
• Review and challenge project financials during forecast and review meetings, collaborating with project teams.
• Apply commercial understanding to enhance project profitability.
• Oversee VAT returns, PSA, and other tax returns in collaboration with the Accountant.
• Manage control recharges to contracts and JVs where applicable.
• Ensure smooth JV processes with other operating units with proper oversight.
• Manage the interim and year-end audit process with external auditors.
• Provide year-end statutory and other information to Group Finance.
