Job summary

The Programme Manager at Rolls-Royce Power Systems UK is responsible for planning, delegation, monitoring and control of all project aspects to meet time, cost, quality, scope and risk targets. The role supports the Electrical Business within Rolls-Royce Solutions UK and requires strengthening governance and resource management across packages of work.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 5 years experience in project management.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work within the project.
• Secure and manage the provision of resources needed for projects from internal and/or external providers.
• Responsible for the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules.
• Develop and secure budgets for the project(s) and control the forecast and actual costs against the allocated budget.
• Establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package(s) of work within the project.
• Act as the focal point and escalation route for all aspects related to the packages of work within the project.
• Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders
• Identify, address and resolve differences between individuals and / or interest groups
• Organize and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.
