Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Programme Manager to lead planning, delegation, monitoring and control across defined work packages for the Electrical Business within Rolls-Royce Solutions UK. The role is based in Bristol with a hybrid arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.

You will manage resources, budgets, schedules and documentation, chair schedule reviews and provide information to senior stakeholders. Security Check clearance is required, and UK national or dual national status may be needed.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
• Ideally a member of a professional body or working to achieve appropriate level of qualification.
• At least 5 years experience in project management or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience of leading multi-functional teams would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for delivery to cost, time and quality for defined work packages within the project.
• Secure and manage resources needed for projects from internal or external providers.
• Create and manage an integrated set of project plans / schedules.
• Develop and control project budgets and compare forecast vs actual costs.
• Maintain documentation to deliver work packages and act as focal point for the project.
• Provide information for management decisions to key stakeholders.
• Identify and address differences between individuals or interest groups.
• Organise and chair schedule reviews and report required executive decisions.
• Ensure PM processes and tools are used effectively across the project.
• Contribute to local Project Management Community of Practice.
• Lead and prioritise team members’ work.
