Job summary
Head Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a critical mainframe migration as part of a Financial Services transformation in Edinburgh. The role is a 6-12 month contract with hybrid onsite requirements and Inside IR35 umbrella company engagement.
You will oversee governance, manage senior stakeholders and ensure delivery within timelines, budgets and quality standards across multiple workstreams and partners.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on Programme Management experience delivering IT transformation within Financial Services.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale mainframe migration programmes, including provider/location migrations.
- Knowledge of IBM mainframe technologies and related platforms (IBM Z, DB2, MQ, Datacom, SAS, PEGA, CA Tape Management, Paragon, AutoRek).
- Leading complex technology programmes and managing multiple interdependent workstreams.
- Governance, budgeting, risk, procurement and delivery management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead a complex mainframe migration programme with multiple stakeholders.
- Provide governance, oversight and assurance across delivery partners.
- Ensure migration is delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
