NHS Central East ICB is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex programmes across our Strategy, Planning and Evaluation Directorate. You will translate strategic priorities into actionable delivery plans, manage budgets and stakeholders, and drive outcomes that improve patient care.

• Monitor performance, risks and dependencies to keep delivery on track.
• Build relationships with clinical, operational, commissioning, technical teams and system partners.
• Manage resources and budgets to ensure value for money.
• Use data and insights to support decision-making and innovation.
• Provide reporting and assurance to senior leaders on progress against milestones and KPIs.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Programme Manager to join Central East ICB working across our Strategic Value Unit and Major Projects team within the Strategy, Planning and Evaluation Directorate. This is a key role leading the delivery of complex and strategically important programmes that support the ICB's commissioning and transformation priorities. Working closely with the Associate Director of Major Projects and colleagues across the system, you will turn strategic priorities into clear delivery plans and measurable outcomes. You will bring strong programme and project management skills, excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to work effectively across organisational and professional boundaries. Please note: The ICB works in a hybrid manner with sites across Central East, staff will be expected to rotate between sites in line with team and organisational need.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects and programmes, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, timescales and budgets.
• Develop and maintain robust plans, milestones, project registers, risk management and governance arrangements.
• Support Leads with project planning, resource scheduling and delivery of complex analytical commissions.
• Monitor performance, risks and dependencies, taking action to keep delivery on track.
• Build strong relationships with ICB clinical, operational, commissioning, technical teams and wider system partners.
• Manage programme resources and budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and value for money.
• Use complex data, evidence and insight to support decision-making, improvement and innovation.
• Provide clear reporting and assurance to senior leaders on progress against milestones and KPIs.
