Job summary

HSDC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Leader - Adults to support the Head of Faculty in delivering outstanding adult education provision. You will manage course teams, drive quality improvement, and ensure strong student outcomes across designated programmes, while maintaining your own teaching commitment (0.4 FTE).

The role requires leadership, curriculum development, and a hands-on approach to staff development and quality assurance processes in a supportive learning community.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
• Teaching qualification such as CertEd, PGCE, BA (hons) in Education.
• Leadership and Management Training.
• Strong knowledge of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
• Experience of using MIS to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• To support the Head of Faculty in delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment across designated provision.
• To lead on management of course teams, outcomes and value added.
• To support performance development reviews for teaching and support staff.
• To develop advanced pedagogy with course teams and create effective learning environments.
• To coordinate information with MIS and exams to facilitate learner registration and exams.
