Job summary

SmartSourcing Ltd. is seeking an experienced Principle Programme Manager for a 6-month contract near Milton Keynes. The role requires DV/SC clearance eligibility and leadership across complex engineering, construction or security projects.

The position offers hybrid working with 3 days per week onsite, and a focus on governance, risk management and delivering programmes to time and budget.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex engineering, infrastructure, construction or security projects.
• Demonstrable experience leading portfolios of large-scale projects and programmes.
• Proven experience leading Senior Project Managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong commercial and financial management experience.
• Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle from initiation to operational handover.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across the project lifecycle from concept to handover, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Maintain governance and project controls to ensure delivery aligns with customer requirements and organisational objectives.
• Develop high-performing project teams and foster accountability, collaboration and delivery excellence.
