Job summary
Atos is seeking a Programme/Transition Director to lead high-impact programmes across the UK, ensuring delivery from pre-contract through production launch while balancing cost, schedule and quality. You will work with account executives, clients, and senior stakeholders to shape and deliver complex initiatives in a national, mobility-enabled setup.
The role requires leading diverse teams (50-300+ staff) across geographies, with a focus on governance, risk management, and commercial performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Programme / Transition Director or equivalent.
- Fully mobile in terms of assignment location.
- Proven track record managing £10M+ programmes, typically contributing to £50M+ TCV deals.
- At least one external Project/Programme Management certification.
Responsibilities
- Hold end-to-end accountability for programme and transition delivery, recovery, and commercial performance from pre-contract through production launch.
- Translate strategy and contractual commitments into structured programmes aligned to cost, timescale and scope.
- Lead governance across complex, multicultural environments with multiple internal teams and third-party suppliers.
