About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Programme Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Lead to support a major central government technology transformation programme delivered in partnership with a leading blue-chip organisation.

This is a senior, hands-on position requiring an exceptional communicator who can take full ownership of programme communications, stakeholder engagement, executive briefings and presentation development.

The successful candidate will work closely with programme leadership, technical architects, delivery managers and senior stakeholders to ensure that complex technical activities are translated into clear, meaningful and outcome-focused communications.

You will be responsible for ensuring stakeholders at every level, from C-suite executives and programme boards through to operational and technical teams, remain informed about programme progress, delivery achievements, key milestones, risks and business outcomes.

We are looking for a mature, confident and highly articulate communications professional who understands complex technology programmes and can communicate their progress and value effectively.

• Programme Communications Strategy & Delivery - develop, own and execute the programme communications strategy and stakeholder engagement plan; structured channels and updates on milestones, risks and benefits.
• Technical-to-Business Communication - engage with technical architects and delivery teams; translate complex technical activity into clear language for non-technical and executive audiences.
• Executive Presentations & Management Briefings - high-quality Microsoft PowerPoint for C-suite, boards and steering committees; visual storytelling and executive-ready materials.
• Senior Stakeholder Engagement - maps, engagement plans, briefings and workshops; manage expectations through clear, transparent communication.
• Programme Progress & Delivery Reporting - align communications with programme reporting and delivery confidence.
• Communications Governance & Quality - standards, calendar, approvals and feedback.
