Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks a Project Director to lead major energy infrastructure programmes with national UK scope. You will drive delivery on National Grid, HVDC and 275kV/400kV substations, shaping safety, programme certainty and commercial success.

You will bring Chartered Engineer status, extensive leadership in energy sectors and strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge to influence senior clients and cross-disciplinary teams nationwide.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), MCIOB, ChPP or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of major energy infrastructure projects.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Lead large multidisciplinary teams across project management, engineering, commercial and construction.
