Job summary
VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Project Director to lead the delivery of major energy infrastructure projects across the UK. You will oversee safety, schedule, cost and quality while guiding large multidisciplinary teams and managing key client relationships.
The role requires Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, extensive leadership in energy projects, and a track record of delivering National Grid HVDC and substations.
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent accreditation.
- Extensive leadership delivering major infrastructure in energy.
- Experience with National Grid, HVDC, substations and major cables.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of major energy infrastructure projects nationwide.
- Ensure safety, programme, commercial performance and quality.
- Provide senior client and stakeholder liaison and governance.
- Build high-performing multidisciplinary project teams.
