We are seeking a Senior Professional Linux Engineer for one of our platinum accounts. The successful candidate will work across multiple teams, demonstrating innovation, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.

Role responsibilities:

1. Provide first and second level technical support on incidents and problems
2. Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
3. Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
4. Assist in building compliance with processes and policies

What you will bring to the team:

• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Experience working with ITIL best practices
• A desire to improve processes and identify root causes of problems
• Willingness to share knowledge and learn from others
• A proactive approach to identifying risks and problems

Desirable Skills and Technologies:

• Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Knowledge of Red Hat products like Satellite 6, OpenShift 3/4, RHEL/CentOS 6/7/8, RHEL Atomic/CoreOS
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, and experience with Git
• Experience with AWS
• Basic understanding of CLI
