Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Experience in busy manufacturing with strong attention to detail.
• Customer-facing experience resolving queries and delivery expectations.
• Experience with master scheduling across multiple work centres.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time-management skills.
• Proactive communicator across departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production across multiple work centres considering capacity.
• Coordinate with Sales to align workloads with demand.
• Communicate schedules to manufacturing and purchasing teams.
• Develop and improve planning processes using ERP/MRP tools.
• Lead production progress updates and deliver timelines to customers.
• Oversee order processing, master scheduling and lead times.
• Coordinate material planning for weekly/daily schedules.
• Represent delivery priorities at production meetings.
• Lead regular Sales & Operations Planning meetings.
• Monitor production output and record updates.
• Work with Sales to maintain monthly forecasts and accuracy.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Support continuous improvement in planning accuracy and delivery.
• Undertake other duties as required.
